Black is the color of night,

or something completely out of sight

Black is quite austere,

like a frightful leer

Black is associated as the color for mourning,

but these are usually opinions of others forming

Why is black so depressing I wonder,

and who decided this I ponder

But to me Black is just like any other hue,

just darker than the other few
