And the summer hums vaguely,
a song you once knew,
a heart beat that rings oh-so-true,
Absolution and rainbow colors,
nothing is so black and white.
Question the world,
and all you believe to be true,
because its possible that nothing,
nothing is what we say,
nothing is as it seems.
Wishes on windowsills,
and far off skylines,
songs about love, and life, and lies,
are only the smallest sliver of need.
Walk away and question everything.
Dear world, Keep me guessing.
