Run

I awake with light streaming into my eyes

“Just a little bit more” I say to myself

The road seems to move further away from me

As I keep running

down the road

What’s the use to struggle?

I make a lot of reasons for myself

And feel miserable

I know I have to end this winding road

but how do I let my dreams and the reality meet?

I wonder if this everlasting road has a goal

with the bright rising sun to greet me

I wonder if it’ll shine upon me

Me who’s catching for breath

Everybody waiting for me with

their arms around each other
