The Crying Girl

A crying girl all alone. What kind of a girl cries. Weak. Pathetic. A child. One unworthy of love. A crying girl thinking things no one should. So her mind gave up.

Her mind couldn’t think. She was confused. She tried to figure it out. She tried to figure anything out. She couldn’t. The wind howled as a storm rolled in.

The thunder roared. It was getting closer and was practically upon the young girl. She was mumbling gibberish to her self when she looked up and noticed the storm.

“ Damn, I am going to get wet.” She screamed out. The scream was much louder then one would expect. She was upset and it was clearly at something more important then getting wet.

“No!! God … Stupid rain.” She was about to burst into tears. “Why oh god why. Why . Why…….Why…did I” She said at nearly a whisper. She seemed to resend back into her self and become numb to her surrounding. The girl walked on down the dark road.

She was all alone on the dark. A fact that made her seem almost miniscule as she walked down the wide road. The road had large trees on either side and was as black as the night. The storm clouds now covered the skies.

“ Go ahead and leave me stars. I don’t need you either.” She said this as she turned her wet face towards the sky. The first sprinkle landed on her cheek. She almost didn’t notice.

“ I can find my own way. I don’t need you. I don’t need any…. Anyone.” Not anymore. Not to carry her. Not to make her feel good about herself when she didn’t disserve it. The rest of the world saw her the way she was but why couldn’t he. He couldn’t because he loved her. She loved him but. You can’t love someone if you don’t love your self.

Seroe would treat her right. He liked her but not to much. He was exiting. She would have to pull her own. She didn’t love him so. She could be with him.

She flung her backpack off of her shoulder and down in front of her. She was about to open it when she noticed the piece of paper in her right hand. A note. Surprised at how hard she was griping the note , she just stared at the paper. Then she tossed it away from her and out of her mind..

She pulled out a small rain coat and put it on just as the rain started to drench her. She was wet but not soaked. Heaving the backpack on she continued to walk down the dark road.

“He’s getting wet.” She said it as if she was stating a fact. At least he doesn’t have to carry her. A smile crossed her face. But she should of left him his stuff. Selfish even when she thinks of others. The smile disappeared She was crying again. She had a job. To become someone she didn’t hate.
