She stood at the
docks.
Her arms held open.
Her eyes closed tight.
She was
hoping, wishing,
That is was not the end.
Needing and
wanting,
His protective embrace.
His strong arms,
Round her
small frame.
The waves crashed.
The thunder rumbled.
Her
arms fell to her sides.
Her eyes shot open.
Sweet familiar
tears,
Streaking her pale completion.
She fell to her
knees,
And sobbed.
She wished for it to be a dream.
She
sobbed.
She screamed.
She hoped.
She wished.
She
regretted.
She stood up.
She missed him.
And, she was
alone.
Again.
