AN : ya, this is the result talking to my friend during a thunder storm, then listening to music to get inspiration, and THEN having the aforementioned inspiration attack your brain.
Enjoy:)
A storm. The best kind of storm. Just the right mix of rain and lightning.
Two dancers, illuminated by a flash, their music audible only after the thunder.
We'll do it all / Everything / On our own
Two rain-soaked bodies, holding eachother close
We don't need / Anything / Or anyone
Another flash, and the smaller jumps. His partner soothes him with words lost in the rumble of thunder
If I lay here / If I just lay here / Would you lie with me and just forget the world?
The two dancers sway to their song, occasionally adding a little spin, but always to return to eachother.
I don't quite know / How to say / How I feel
The two dancers keep moving, always swaying or twirling not always with the beat, but eerily beautiful in the pouring rain.
Those three words / Are said too much / They're not enough
In the next flash, the taller pulls his partner closer, whispering something lost in the next rumble.
If I lay here / If I just lay here / Would you lie with me and just forget the world?
The smaller looks into his partner’s eye’s and a smile touches his face.
Forget what we're told / Before we get too old / Show me a garden that's bursting into life
The smile is retuned by the taller, who is immediately embraced by his diminutive dance partner.
Let's waste time / Chasing cars / Around our heads
Encircled by warm arms, the answer to an unknown question is whispered to a waiting consort, who grins at what he hears.
I need your grace / To remind me / To find my own
If I lay here / If I just lay here / Would you lie with me and just forget the world?
The grin is soon reflected, and a dancer literally swept off his feet.
Forget what we're told / Before we get too old / Show me a garden that's bursting into life
The matching grins burst and become happy laughter, inaudible only during the peals of splitting clouds.
All that I am / All that I ever was / Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see
And as suddenly as the laughter began, it is silenced
I don't know where / Confused about how as well / Just know that these things will never change for us at all
The silence is caused by a spontaneous kiss, the kind you only get after confessing your love for somebody while dancing in the rain.
If I lay here / If I just lay here / Would you lie with me and just forget the world?
