weren't really meant for someone who has
a broken one them self.

and you turned and looked at me.
I didn't look back 'cause I knew I was
imagining things.

I thought I saw you say to your friends
to stay by the tree (where I was).
But I pretended to read my book instead,
because you were probably referring to someone else.

I thought I saw you talk to me,
but I could have been hearing things,
it's possible. You asked me what book I was
reading.

I had to look up, you talked to me - so I saw you smile.
(I think).
