A Diesel Guitar

Eclectic esoteric music,

Electric it ain’t

Eccentric I am while I strum

Along on my Diesel Guitar

The attached engine is loud,

The notes lost in the black cloud,

That this guitar belches!

An aspiring King of Rock

Don’t Be Cruel

I just need more fuel

But I save,

On electricity.

I’ll admit I’d be a fool to use

This tool

For serenading

But some rock-stars tell me louder is better,

For everything else,

So they should

Admire me when they hear

It

There’ll be no Spanish Castle Magic when you hear

This guitar

Its engine always roaring

Loudly enough to scare Jimi

There’d be no Rush

To hear me play on the beach. Boys

And girls would scurry away like Beatles

And would anyone care? Who?

They’ll never welcome me in any Band

For to music wouldn’t be a Genesis

Only a skull-rending headache, no Cure available.

But that won’t concern me

Once I start my solo

I don’t just change its strings, but also

Its oil, even in the middle of a jam session!

Ra'akone
