Two Faced Stranger

A puppet master with strings made of words,
You put on the greatest show of them all.
Blinding the world left and right,
Dazzling me with that crooked smile.

Painting a picture with colors of deceit,
I fall helplessly into your work of art.
You knew what words to use on me,
Playing with all my hopes and dreams.

Speaking words of love and adoration,
Singing a song that hypnotizes my soul.
Once I am caught in your web of music,
You break me like a string on that beat up guitar.

Unfortunately you're the fool in this little play.
Full of flaws; you're just a fake.
Alone you will remain upon center stage,
Continually playing your two faced masquerade.
