Erik's Point of View
It was a beautiful summer morning, just like the summer a year back when I had first met Alex, we hadn't run into danger yet, and even as I missed my clan, I knew I had found a new home with Alex. Blending in as a dog was quite an easy task to do, I saw Alex walking down the street and let out a fake bark, he scratched me behind the ear, even though I was a werewolf, even I had to admit that felt really good. "Anything new?" I asked him once we were inside.
"No, not really doesn't seem like there have been any supernatural sightings since that strange werewolf migration last month..." Alex told me "Jeremy and I were just hanging out by the park, they seem to have left..."
"Good.." I replied with a sigh of relief, I had been left in charge while his parents were gone on a second honeymoon and my number one rule was to avoid anything supernatural that could be dangerous "So, anything planned for tomorrow."
"Jeremy and the others leave for camp tomorrow..." Alex replied, he wasn't going to camp since he was still getting used to living in his new surroundings "We get to spend the whole summer together..."
It was quite easily seen these days that Alex had changed a lot in the last year, he was much more well kept and his brown hair was now short, he was also somewhat taller, and less prone to crying when he was in danger. I had always been right behind him when a bully or human kidnapper had tried to do harm to him. "Sounds good to me..." I finally replied "Are you still up to joining me in search of that fang? You know the one from your dreams?"
"Do mom and dad know?" he asked me, blinking slightly.
"Of course, I wouldn't take you without telling them first..." I told him with a smile.
"Then, yeah, of course I'm in." he smiled, I grinned at this.
"Then go and grab your things, we'll leave in 10 minutes..." I told him, this fang was important, so important that the leader of my pack had visited me the other day to tell me if it wasn't found soon our kind would be wiped out.
He had given me one name of who was threatening our existance:Malaki. A werewolf hunter whose sole purpose was to bring about our extinction, and for this, I was going to have to keep a very close eye on Alex, he knew where the fang was, and Malaki would want him for it. It didn't take Alex long to get ready, withing 10 minutes he was downstairs with his backpack, and the locket he always wore around his neck. "Let's go..." I told him, and we walked out the door, unsure of what would await us on our journey.
