Summary

Part One: The Burning Girl

Benjamin Kinsley is a soldier from Neptune, addicted to a gene-altering drug called blaze that grants him telekinetic abilities. On his first mission for the company, he captures a street girl named Tanwen who takes out half his unit by herself, only to discover that she is the first firestarter to be encountered in half a century.

Caught between the militaristic enterprises of Neptune and the unpredictable machinations of a telepathic gang leader, Ben and Tanwen must fight against the powers that be, their friends, and each other if they hope to remain free and alive.
