Deep inside I know,
That you want to let go,
Fall beneath the crashing waves,
Disappear into the sea.

Feel the cold on your face,
Forget of the place,
That you came from,
And just come home.

It’s not worth losing the joy,
To be rid of the pain.
Yet, you must loose what you have,
To realize what you’ve gained.

I can feel you slipping away,
Your tears fall to the sea.
You want to follow in their way,
I plead with my own tears—‘Stay’.

What can I do for you?
What do you need?
What does your heart long for,
That I haven’t seen?

You tear your heart open,
You show me your mind,
You show me the memories,
Hiding inside.

I see the torture,
I feel the pain.
I know what you lost,
What little you gained.

I can’t bear to watch you,
Suffer like this,
Ending your agony,
Might be worth what you’ll miss.

You want to forget it all,
Get it out your mind,
The things that they put you through,
You want to put them behind

The things that you ask,
I cannot give.
My only wish,
Is that you will live.

You let go with one hand,
You loosen your grip,
I feel pity for you,
And I let you slip.

Holding on with one finger,
Holding on by a thread,
You want to drown in your misery,
You wish you were dead.

Something stills my hand,
Something won’t let me let go,
Maybe it’s because I love you,
Maybe it’s because I know,
That if you just gave up,
You would lose your life,
But as for me, I would lose my mind.

Feel the rush of the storm, the wind,
Hear the crash of the sea,
Feel the cold on your face, your skin,
See the conflict in me.

I don’t know,
Whether to hold on or let go.
I don’t want you to decide,
Because I know you’ll let go.

Don’t let go…
