BEAUTIFUL PAIN

Blessed with ills to transcribe,

My stories are told.

They swim and fly in the air

Tonight,

Then come to rest in your ears and mind.

Come, listen.

Learn from foreign mistakes.

Let fossilized tears be discovered in your mornings’ dew.

Come, feel the droplets of experience,

Crawling down ridges of wisdom.

Do not fear them,

Their daunting façade will pass,

Embrace them,

And recognize the exquisite beauty

That lies beneath grayed layers.
