The sequel is indeed in the third person POV, just thought I'd try something different this time.
-------------------------------------------------
The man steadily walked through the streets of the small town, hood covering his face, all that could be seen were brown eyes and flaming red hair. He approached the small inn and walked inside, seating himself at a table near the bar, another man sat right across from him. "So, you have information on the boy and his werewolf companion I hear..." Malaki, the hooded man said coldly "This had better not be a waste of my time... I assure you I do not take false leads lightly..."
"I assure you this will not be a waste of your time..." the man across from him slid over a small photo "I have a picture of the child you should be looking for..."
Malaki stopped it by slamming his open palm onto it, and turned it over, a teenager who looked no older then 14 looked up at him, he had brown hair and green eyes. "And the boys name?" Malaki asked even more coldly.
"Alex, Alex Winters..." the man replied "Last I was told, they were somewhere around the hidden forest..."
"Colarado, eh?" Malaki asked "Should be a piece of cake, that's not far from here by air travel..."
"What about my reward Malaki?" the man asked "Where is the reward..."
"Oh, about that..." Malaki said with a slight, laugh with no one in the room other then the two of them, no one could see him slip the silver knife from his pocket "I lied..." he threw the knife into the man's chest, the man fell backwards, dead, and Malaki took it out cleaning it off, throwing it aside, he had gloves on they wouldn't be able to trace it.
He walked out into the cool night air, and threw a small ball into the air, it would record their movements. "The Hidden Forest, now..." Malaki told it "Follow the boy, I will find you shortly..."
It nodded as if it were a head, and disappeared as did Malki, who appeared just outside the forest. "I've found you at last my little friend..." he grinned slightly "Now I will at last exterminate those demonic hounds for good." he began walking into the forest "But I will give you a chance for a chase first... 4 hours..."
Malaki's powers to detect werewolves helped him a lot. "That's how long it will take..." Malaki laughed, as he began making a mad dash.
------------------------------------------------
Alex woke up, breathing heavily, it was quite cold outside, from what he could see only 2 hours had passed since he had fallen asleep.(And 3 hours since Malaki had entered the forest) Erik lied across him, keeping him warm like an electric blanket. He smiled at his werewolf companion, he probably would have frozen at different times if he hadn't been there to warm him up with his shaggy, black fur. He could swear Malaki, whom Erik had finally told him about had nearly caught up with them at least 10 times. They were in a small cave, where he was leaning against a pillow he had packed. 2 weeks had passed, and still there had been no sign of The Fang of Darkness. Alex slowly closed his eyes again, he could swear he saw a floating orb in the air before he fell asleep. Erik, however, was not asleep, he was still wide awake, and he got a wiff of a strange odor, the odor of dead werewolves, like, a werewolf hunter. He slowly raised himself, careful not to wake Alex from his slumber. He walked to the mouth of the cave, keeping an eye on their surroundings, he slowly walked outside the cave. Indeed there was a hooded man making his way twoards the cave, he let out a deep threatening growl that made Alex open his eyes abruptly and walk over.
"Erik, what's the matter?" Alex whispered, seeing Malaki making his way up the road "Is that-"
"Get in the cave Alex!" Erik ordered him "We can't let him see you!"
"But what about you?" Alex asked, Erik turned and glared slightly.
"Forget about me!" he snapped "Go to the darkest corner of the cave with Reverant!"
Reverant was another werewolf they had made friends with the week before, he hated being in the light for long, except when traveling, so he kept to the darkest corner of the cave away from the moonlight. Alex didn't argue further, he ran over to the dark corner, Reverant was not asleep, werewolves, truth be told liked to sleep in the day, but they slept at night because of Alex, he needed his sleep more then the two of them did. "He's here, isn't he?" Reverant asked, concerned , when he saw Alex shaking and looking very pale. "Don't worry, you're going to be ok, we won't let anything happen to you..." he rubbed Alex's back, causing him to fall asleep, that way he wouldn't have to deal with this he stayed put, determined to protect his young human companion.
"Ah, Erik, it's been a while..." Malaki said coldly as he walked twoards him.
"What are you talking about Malaki, I only know your name and apearence, I've never met you!" Erik growled deeply.
"Oh really, you were only a cub back then, so I guess you wouldn't remember how your parents died..." Malaki laughed, Erik growled even more threateningly "Where is the boy?"
"If you've come for Alex then you can forget it!" Eric roared.
"Oh, but you really don't have a choice..." Malaki threw a few little spider like bots to the ground and they left to life, he then spoke in a foreign tounge "Find the boy and bring him to me..."
The spider gadgets scurried along the cave floor, fully equipped with extra strong and sticky webbing, Erik was too focussed on Malaki to notice them, but Alex, who hated spiders was fully awake now. He backed up, Reverant getting in front of him, swiping away spider-bot after spider-bot. And then one shot a web around Reverants arm, and then another around his other arms and both of his legs, knocking him down, and imobilzing him. Alex wimpered and started backing away. Another spider did the same with both of his arms and legs, knocking him down to the ground, they left Reverant, but the spider-bot who had imobilized Alex was now dragging the struggling boy along the cave floor. The webbing got tighter, and like a boa constrictor wrapped all the way up until the edge of his neckline. "Let me go!!" Alex screamed "Please, stop it!!"
The spider bots didn't listen, they had their orders, and they were going to follow them, they finally reached Malaki, who grinned. "Like I said, you don't have a choice..." he grinned, getting ready to disappear.
