Hi this poem was originaly written for a writing contest so if you see one like it don't freak out ok? thankies lol...this poem was inspired by my feelings of how i broke up with my bf... but off the sad topic and on to the poem! please review and give me tips on how to improve!! thankies!!

Because of you my eyes were opened

Because of you my world was filled with color

Because of you I was able to love again

Because of you I was able to be free

Because of you my heart was healed

Because of you my heart was broken

Because of you my mind was crushed with such force it reeled

Because of you leaving I lost that which I craved

Because you left me I became broken

Because of you the lamb entered the lion's den

My heart is the lamb, your cruelness is the den

Because of you I hide behind my broken smile

Trying to go the extra mile

Because of you I lost myself in fantasy

Only to be woken up to a cruel reality

Because of you I was no longer alone

But when I needed you, you disappeared

Because of you I felt Love, and in the end Hate

Because of you I am shattered

But to you it never mattered

But I still love you; Because of you I was able to feel

And I hope you know, my love for you is Real
