Hundreds, a crowd,
Boisterous and loud,
In the hallways of school,
Surround me.
They push and they shove,
No compassioin or love,
An unkind world,
Is around me.
Millions, billions,
Soon to be trillions,
Yet why do I feel
So alone?
Loveless, mindless,
They show little kindness,
No wonder I feel,
So alone.
I have my friends,
They'll stay to the end,
I do not doubt,
Their loyalty.
Pompous and proud,
That overbearing crowd,
Expects me to respect them,
As royalty.
I will never give up,
I cannot give in,
To the shadows of loneliness,
So quiet and dim.
Push through the crowd,
So boisterous and loud,
Hold your head high,
Aim your dreams for the sky.
Have hope and be strong.
To their utter dismay,
You'll be able to say,
I did it- I proved you were wrong.
