I promised I would write some more vampire-related poetry, so here it is, I hope it's satisfatory.

Thwarted by sunrise

Pure white skin,
Empty blue veins shining through.

Long, spindly fingers,
Winding around a victim's neck.

And a pair of razor sharp incisors,
Gleaming in the moonlight.

All these things accumulate,
In a passionate dance;
A struggle between life and death,

Thwarted only,
By sunrise.
