Our Last Farewell

Sister, o, sister

Forget me not

On your adventures

Our bittersweet

Last farewell

Speaking through tears

Yearning to stay together

Sisters, best friends

Constant companions

Ripped apart

Sister, o, sister

I have lost so much

Few yet to abandon me

Where is your soothing voice?

Your quick wit

And foul sense of humour?

Far away

Like so much else

So much has happened

So much I want to tell you

Sister, o, sister

Nothing will make me

Forget your laughter

How can I forget your tears?

And all the times

You soothed mine

Who will dry my tears

Now that you’re gone?

Who will make me laugh

When all goes wrong?

Sister, o, sister

Remember me

Don’t forget

All the times we laughed

Through the lectures

Of our bane

Let me hold on

Don’t go forever

I’ll be waiting

When you return
