Sometimes all I can think about is the way you'll feel when I hold you closer

Too close, under your skin, into your blood

Sometimes I think about disease, and the secrets even I don't know

I want to be inside your heart, I want to breathe life into you

And your hand so warm in mine

I want to be the depth you lack in your eyes, the brightness of your smile

I would blur familiar faces, anything that caused your pain

Sometimes I dream of you, touching my skin and passing right through

And I believe that it might be close at hand

I want to be more basic than lovers, more natural than systems...

I want to read your mind.

Sometimes I hear your voice and it is not yours, or his, it is mine

Shaded by experience, innately familiar

And sometimes I want to be your release

I want to share that moment you possess

I want to know that primal pleasure

Sometimes I think that the way you touch me opens my body

And the world can pollute me, make me incomplete

But sometimes, I think that you shut me down

And your fingers orchestrate the rhythm of my heartbeat

My desire is yours.

I want to touch you in this way you have.

Sometimes I dream of conducting your mind, guiding your body with more than my hands

Singing your praises with more than a voice

Writing your movements with more than just words

But I want yours when they are all you have to give.
