When I wished,
I should have
remembered
to not loose
sight of who I am.

That was my mistake
as I sit here
alone during lunch,
((That use to be our spot))
watching you talk
with your friends.
You’re not missing me
at all;
I can see it in your eyes.

I shouldn’t
have wished
for us to be together.
I thought we were
a perfect match;
look at how wrong I was.

My reputation
is going downhill from
all of your lies about me.
((Don’t worry, I have some for you.))
Your lies are spreading
like little illnesses,
thank you very much.

In the end,
I shouldn’t have wished.
