I don’t think it’s hit me yet

I’m not sad or scared

Like I thought I’d be

Its just like any other day

I go to each room like I’m supposed to

Joke around and laugh with my friends

But I’m sure when the year ends

I’ll cry and be scared

but I’ll be stronger and happy

because life after high school

To me, is just a new beginning
