my insides are bursting at the seams,
heartstrings have snapped and wrapped,
themselves tight around your wrist.

i cut deep into you, hoping you will feel me there
but you have become so numb to everything
locked away in a desolate lair.

im so lost inside your skin,
swimming through your veins..
yet you never truly let me in.
