We sat down by the lake
On rocks
And laughed at everything

Ducks on land
Chased them down in the lake
Laughed and started to climb tree's
Forgott that I'm afraid of heights

She got green hair
And looked like she was high
A ciggarette in her hand
And black around her eyes

She got black hair
And sparkling blue eyes
Scratches on her arm
Frowns upon the sight of cigarettes
And back around her eyes

The other two share a cigarette
And talk about boyfriends who doesn't want to have sex
And answering his calls

We talk dirt
And pretend we're gay
Laugh and take photo's

We're supposed to be swiming
But who's crazy enough to swim when it's this cold?
So we sit by the lake
And wonder if someone will smell the smoke on our clothes

And we sit by the lake
Cigarette smoke and laugh
Creating new memory's
Ignoring the painfull and old ones
The lake is beautiful
But we're not there for that
Take a photo to remember
This is where I belong

For my new found (and old) friends, and the short time we spent down by the lake after we ditched school.
