End Notes

Since I finished this story, unless you count the sequel as part of the story, I decided to tell you about the story you just read.

First and most important of all, thank you for reading my story.

This story wasn’t planned on being viewed by anyone except for me and the real life counterpart of Skye. I decided to write it because she wanted me to try to write something that was similar to real life, like her stories. When she said this to me, we were going through what Kayne and Skye were going through (not exactly like them though), so I decided to write about what we were going through so I could write about it and get it off my mind a little.

Though that was one main thing in the story, several other concepts in it are based upon my life events. A lot of what Kayne brings up in the beginning about what he’s been through are things I’ve been through. The Criminal Justice teacher/bowling coach that helped Kayne in real life helped me as well (just different name.) The promises between Kayne and Skye are based upon our actual promises with each other (real world versions.)

Then again, some things haven’t happened to me or are not based on real life. I obviously don’t live by myself, I didn’t have a car at that age either (when I wrote it), and I have never had any type of TV appearance or acting job. In real life, we (real life versions) don’t go to the same school nor did the events depicted in the story happen during school. The events surrounding Skye rejecting Kayne is fake, the way it happened and the events that happened during it, before it, or anything Skye did didn’t happen, I just used it to make it more dramatic; however, her not choosing me (sadly) is in reality and me acting like a baby.

The last chapter hasn’t happened, and hopefully won’t happen; it’s just an imagining of what would happen if she did move off. The main difference between our friendships in story version and real version is that our reason for breaking up wasn’t our choice, but we still are each other’s best friends.

Now that you’re done with this story, go and read its sequel, Kayne’s Life 2: Junior Year. A year has passed since the first one and a subtitle has been added. What new problems, events, love, and change in life will happen this year? Read the next chapter to find out, maybe.
