Fair Shores

Look upon the troubled sea
And gaze up at the sky
Can you hear the winds that roar
Or the lone gull's cry?
Feel the breeze upon your back
See the foam-flecked waves
Sight the shores beyond the surf
Across the boundless gales.
The waters there are far apart
From the lands you now call home
Each morning brings a dew-flecked start
New waves break with the dawn.
Fear not and hurry forth, my friend
