I let the man I love go last night. It's over, finished. This is the last thing I'm going to write for a bit, because I don't much feel up to working my stories yet. I'm sorry.

By: Helena F. Lupin

I should hate him

Despise him

Bring curse to his name

It’s him that I should blame

But I just can’t

Because I love him

I need him

Unrequited though I am

He is the one I want

I hear his heart beat

When I sleep

Though he is far away

He says I’ll find love

In someone

Who is not him

But he was my hope

I may cry

My heart may die

But I will carry on

With his memory in my heart

Because I love him

No one will touch me

And though I smile

Within me

Is a breaking heart

I will fight on

Even if I do it alone

I’m a woman

I’m a Leo

I’m stubborn to the end

I’ll hold on to my hope in him

And why?

Because I love him
