November 28, 1999

Someday, when I grow self conscious of myself,

I will probably do something different;

some what out of MY league, but not out of his.

A lot older than I, he pities me, but I not him.

He was me, and I will be him.

But how did he become the hero of his heart?

I will pass through the same, only time does part.

He wishes he was in my soul, but that can never be;

I have done that several times with a much, much younger me.

Mistakes come and problems go, but now can’t go away.

There is nothing else to do but embrace them and just wait.

To you I say, and please mind the choice of words,

To do as you must and please do think of me.

Remember what I did and said, to make you the man you are today.
