Zen Blade

Overthrown By The Minute

All my nooks and crannies,

all my secret hiding spots,

my little paradises and thinking corners,

my mini escapes from reality are being overtaken.

Some by entrepreneurial advancement,

automotive obstruction,

and even natural over-powerment and bypass.

There are less places to write

and even fewer places to be inspired.

All I have now is a large decorative rock on the corner of a street to sit on so that I can write my ramblings.

At least the humdrum of monotonous cars and the random calling of birds can

….oh…

….great….

….now there’s ants on this stupid rock too!

Now I have to find a new spot!
