Imagine a new land; a newly born continent, fresh from the edacious seas. To abide with the new land, came a new idea; separation and war. The prime sects of the land consisted of Humans, Urks, Jinares, and Elves. Humans fought viciously against the Jinares and Urks, while the Jinares and Urks fought one another. Elves split into many tribes, some siding with Humans, some with Urks, and many with Jinares. Eventually, after much Elven slaughter, the elves withdrew from the Great War, and came together in harmony. The separating tribes diminished from the Elven culture, realizing they had let themselves become just like the Jinares, whom fought against themselves. The strong name of the Elves had weakened considerably, leaving Jinares, Humans, and Urks left to dominate the young world. Upon the decline of the Elves, the Jinares no longer possessed an ally. Many of them sought refuge on a hidden island, guarded by ancient monstrosities and curses. This island was called Riathene. The remaining Jinares’ desire to merely live and not fight was their murderous downfall, as their superiority rapidly decreased while the war waged on. With time, the humans had no one left to fight, as they picked off the Jinares gradually throughout the decades. Though the Urks still held murder and wraith in their hearts, there was much too few of them to continue the constant combat they had led for so long. Upon this, Urks fled into secrecy. Over time, the war had gone on between Humans, Jinares, Urks, and Elves, for so long, it was seemingly reduced to everlasting embers. During this era, the sects needed compromise more than ever, something that the Jinares managed to instill upon them all. Order.

The First Order was made up of seven powerful wizards. This was before the construction of the great wall of Jyemia, so bloodshed between Urks, Humans, and Jinares was frequent. Each race was a part of the First Order, also involved in the ongoing warfare. This meant each one had to compromise in some sense, especially since the hatred between Humans and Jinares was so intense. The Urks were the only race that chose not to contribute a leader to The First Order. These men became the perfect combination of power-thirsty leaders, for together they created a plan to be above the war, and the majesty of death. It started out in good intention, something that would suppress the warfare and atrocities; in the end, it had become a device of their own demise, and that of many others. Together, they constructed the ultimate universe, something of neither matter nor time. It was the link between the land of the living, and that of the dead. An Inner Realm, so they called it, and themselves the Inner Circle.

The newly made connection to hell brought blithe upon the lands, cursing the nights with the inhabitants of spirits and ghouls from the underworld. This was all very unnerving for the The Lord of the Dead, who sought to it that the wizards were destroyed, along with the realm. He sent his beast, Sectivis, to bring all seven of them back to hell where they surely belonged. Though Sectivis was quite powerful, the wizards out-matched him by constructing each of them six stones of endowment, and they ripped him away six times, a part of him sealed away in each of the six stones. They called them Wakes. With the fear that now held them, the Order was broken.

The Lord of the Dead was furious, and he came to the seventh leader, Devuros of Jinarian blood. He was the only one who hadn’t created a Wake, and while the others had fled, he had stayed. Now the Lord of the Dead was willing, though Devuros was one of the conspirators, to strike a deal with him; He would spare his life if he created a key that would allow the seals to be broken if all the Wakes were brought together. Devuros agreed to this, but also, without the Lord’s knowledge, created a seventh wake. After he had created the Lord’s key, they met again so that the Dark Lord could inspect Devuros’s work. Devuros acted quickly and took out the wake and sealed away the seventh element of Sectivis’s; his soul, which the Lord of the Dead had kept from him and the other conspirators. He escaped narrowly, only to find that a curse was laid upon his name and that of the heir that would one day relinquish Sectivis and undoubtedly die… A curse that was sealed away with the secrecy of the seventh Wake… The Wake of Darkness.

To protect remaining Jinarian clans of Urrana, a new plan of a different kind of separation was advised. In midst of the human’s knowledge, legend told of a great wall being built by all of the magical creatures of the land. It took well over a decade to build, and cut the land of Urrana into nearly two halves, the side of the Jinares being slightly smaller. But the Northern lands were darker and more perilous than the Southern lands. The Northern lands, owned by the Jinares and all the races that had joined their cause, were called by the name of Jyemia. The Southern lands, owned by none other than the Humans, were called the Shadare.

Sleeping under sleepless soils of

our ancients thou Inner Realm

Lies the demise of entire,

seed of doom, vanquisher of the world

Hence stones of six endowments shall

secrete in all six corners of Uranna

Six stones, wakers of our doom, shall

hold both sentence and release

The caged vice hope never prevail save

there be true placing of Wakers

Wake Amethyst, endowed with telepathy,

embodies audacity of heart

Wake Ruby, endowed with psychiatry,

influences cleverness of mind

Wake Emerald, endowed with teleportation,

represents steadfastness of body

Wake Topaz, endowed with healing,

symbolizes heritage of blood

Wake Sapphire, endowed with underwater breathing,

signifies constancy of breath

Wake Diamond, endowed with unsurpassable vigor,

epitomizes potency of bone

Body is righted with the heart,

and left with the mind

Blood runs through the heart,

whereas the mind is fated with the soul

Breath gives life to the soul,

whereas the blood is righted with the bone

Entire of Wakes crafts the whole

of one’s malice that may impend doom

Answerable for holding his very

breath, blood, bone, body, mind, and heart

Separately only as mere treasures,

yet united they convey but dire end
