Brandishing her brush like a weapon

Her tablet stylus piercing the tablet

The pen dripping ink like blood

Bloodied fingertips jabbing the keyboard

Singing like a final scream

Dancing like a whirlwind on fire

Pencil gouging out paper holes

Reciting poems and lines like an incantation

War-drums on a fevered stage

A creative fight that we'll never give up

Keep going! Don't stop! Never give up!

A battlecry of paint and clay

And warpaint of sweat and music notes.

The pen or brush or violin

Will be your weapon against the world.

Fight with words and music and images

And dance and acting and anything you can

And take back the world from those who

See in monochrome.

(Dedicated to Mr. Tyler, Mr. Lalone, Ms. Pelley.)
