Writing a Sonnet

I sit here trying to write a sonnet.

It isn’t going well, as I can’t think.

I wasted all weekend and never got on it,

And now I think my pen is out of ink.

The words have flowed on the page many times,

But no idea I think of seems to fit,

Or as much as I write, it never rhymes…

That or it’s boring and lacking in wit.

Can you please help me think of something?

What is there to write a sonnet about?

Please help me find those stanzas with that ring

That tells me I have found the fit with no doubt.

Where on short notice can I a sonnet find?

Oh wait, I just wrote one, thank you, never mind!
