A grassy mountain awaits me
One I long to climb
I find a lousy impediment
In the form of a wooden sign
I'm sure others have scaled this mountain before
The sign was put in place
What imbecile stuck it in the ground
I'd love to rearrange his face !
But nevermind the sign itself
One day this mountain I'll climb
It'll be better for my health
And the sense of peace I'll find
I'm not really breaking a rule
Just bending it a little
Sometimes we must face our fears
Encourage others and not belittle
Onward I go with a song in my heart
Climbing every mountain
Despite the signs
This is my journey alone
Which has only begun to start
Despite contradictions in my life
That I may happen upon
My soul and feet fly unhindered
Glimmering in the dawn.
