Everything wrong, but yet so right

They set out to meet in the park that night,

To confirm what was wrong but felt so right.

They had met while to the music they sway,

And once their eyes met, they never went astray.

And while she stood in the cold, waiting

Slowly but surely, her heart was breaking.

And she thought in sorrow that he would never come,

And all would end, when it really had never begun.

So as the rain started pouring,

The drivers in the cars began beeping,

As he left his own and starting running,

Hoping his angel, would still be waiting.

And as the sun was slowly setting,

At the same time their hearts were sinking.

While he begged inside his heart

That they would never have to part,

The rain hid her tears

And she tried to hide her fears.

And in the dark as she turned to leave,

He forced himself up the stairs, with a heave.

And as her face lit up in the gloomy night sky,

He grabbed her hand promising to never say goodbye.

And he whispered in her ear "I'll love you forever"

And she knew from then, that they'd always be together.

A/N: A piece that came to me at like 12 a.m in the morning. Strangely enough, most of my ideas tend to come to me at night, haha. Anyway, this is the first time I'm putting one of my poem/songs up, so...I'm expecting the worst. Also, I understand half of it probably didn't make sense, but it makes sense to me because it's sort of got a hidden meaning. I didn't want to explain things to much, I thought I'd let people interpret it in their own way.

It wasn't too bad was it?
