Author's Note: Hi everyone, here is the debut of my new story, "Eden" !

My inspiration came when I was on iTunes, looking at the songs from broadway plays. One album led to another, as so many do, and eventually I ended up at an old album from a long time ago entitled, "The Apple Tree". I listened to the songs and did a bit of research on it and found that it was about none other than the infamous sinners, Adam and Eve. I was so interested that I bought a few of the songs and wouldn't stop listening to them.

The other day, however, was when it came to me.

I was daydreaming in History, ironically enough, when I started to imagine Adam and Eve, sitting there, discussing their feelings about the strange new world they were abruptly placed in without so much as a clue what to do. I imagined what made Eve want to take the apple from the Tree of Knowledge, and how she convinced Adam to follow her actions.

It was such an amazing daydream that I didn't want to let it go. Ignoring my history teacher's mumbled ramblings, I started to sketch out the ideas and story line, and thus, "Eden" was born.

I'm not sure how it will go or if it will be any good, but review once you've read the preface and tell me if you're interested.

Thanks so much,

-Bella-

You know, opening your eyes is the hardest part.

So many things come at you at once, ready to be taken in in one short moment. Images and pictures of all kinds flood into your mind, making you positively dizzy with confusion.

First, the light hits you.

It's all so bright-brighter than any ray of sun or light you'll ever see in your entire existence. It's so much compared to the darkness you had previously been...oh, what's the right word? Waiting in. Because that's basically what I had been doing there-wherever there is-for who-knows how long until God Himself decided to have a little experiment. A test, we can call it.

God had previously created this magnificent world, with beautiful animals and insects inhabiting the whole place. It had luscious green trees and radiant, exotic flowers. But there was something missing from this wonderous garden.

This is what this particular experiment's objective is: create a talented, wise creature that can learn and communicate, one that walks and feels and can learn. One that will be superior to any other in the world.

But, let's get back to the beginning, shall we? Where I had no idea there was a test, a new world, or an anything for that matter.

Where I made my entrance in the Garden of Eden.

Well, hope you liked it and are interested!

leave a comment telling me if its a thumbs up or down
