I am hoping you will read this,

So our friendship isn’t gone.

I’m hoping you will not read it,

So that I might move on.

I know this feeling isn’t fair

For either you or me.

It’s so diff’rent from how I am

A part you wouldn’t see.

I don’t think you realize

How much of me you hurt.

You continue to forget me.

Leave me with no comfort.

You say that you love me

And we are friends forever.

But why do you turn around,

Push me farther, faster?

You plan day after day

And you again leave me behind.

Your actions again shout;

Your voice keeps me blind.

I don’t know whether you mean it

Or if this is me paranoid.

I hope you make your choice.

Because I hate being toyed.

One more reason for my worry

That friendship soon might end:

I cannot admit it face-to-face.

I wrote this prose instead.
