when you drift farther and farther apart

How can you tell him you feel helpless…
…when you no longer know his heart

Would he know it, if you just quit…
and does he know the way you feel inside

How could he know it, you haven’t told him…
…he doesn’t know your love has nearly died

Do you know if you still need him…
…your love may not be beyond repair

One thing though, is for certain…
…it will take you both to care

How can your once deep love possibly be sustained...
