-Heartless Winter-

The black snow slowly falls into place,

And a wind begins to pick up pace.

The heartless feeling of winter is deep,

Chilling each 'lone soul in their restless sleep.

All has long since frozen inside,

As clouds above obscure all light.

The fleeting sun hides amidst the dark;

Frostbite wraps around to leave a mark.

Life withers away without apology,

As a void fulfills a snowy prodigy.

A season will later perish away,

If one can survive a black winter day...
