-Chapter 1-

-Gunshot-

‘What are you looking at?’

‘The moon,’ she said shortly before turning around to look up at the sky once more.

‘…What’s wrong?’

‘Nothing,’ her words flowed with ease it would be hard for anyone to tell that something was wrong.

‘Something’s wrong, what is it?’

‘Nothing,’ she said once more.

‘You know you can’t lie to me,’

‘Leave me alone,’ Listening closely, there was a difference in her voice…a kind of sadness was there.

‘Tell me what’s wrong,’

‘Please, just leave me alone,’ a pleading tone took over her voice.

A gunshot was heard in the distance.

‘Just tell me what’s wrong,’

‘…I can’t,’

Another gunshot.

She was fading away.

‘Save yourself,’ was the last thing I heard from her.

I rolled out of bed quickly, running a hand through my hair.

What was that about?

‘Save yourself,’

What did she mean by that?
