The Other Extinction I Forgot To Mention

I saw you again today, through the window in a pawn shop
Two different kinds of love birds, not in love, but
They only have the other
I wished I laughed, but hysterically getting your attention
Would have made me the sparrow in a non-alliteration
I was in the cold, it was not the right weather to have called you
You answer to another mate in your other world
Either way, my laugh would have been half folly
I had woke up and left with the wrong conscious in my pocket
