Warlord’s Lament

”Now hearken ye

My bravest men

May raise your sword and shield

Today will thee

My bravest men

March to the battle’s field

---

And you shall fight

My bravest men

Fear not you foeman’s sign

You hold the might

My bravest men

To cut the foeman’s line

---

Swing your sword

My bravest men

And fight with heart and hand

And pray your lord

My bravest men

Defend your king, your land

---

And so you will

My bravest men

Soon drink the vict’ry’s toast

Just fight to kill

My bravest men

But pay the warlord’s cost

---

For once you fight

My bravest men

You’ll know the warlord’s cost”
