best friend.
By, Robert Kingett
To, Connie M Mounts, Donal Buie, and Amanda Fadden
Wherever you are, whatever you are doing in these unpredictable stages of your life, I hope that you will remember me, Robert w kingett. Remember the good times we had together and all the laughs we had shared at FSDB (the Florida school for the deaf and the blind) so many years ago. I am thinking about you, and I always will. I just hope that with all your hearts that you will keep those happy memories of us smiling on the playground as we faced horrors in our imagination that no one else could imagine, the memories of us laughing at some idiotic thing that happened at school, the memories of the strong friendship between us that could not be broken by any means what so ever. Once again I feel as though I need to say this. I have not forgotten about you and I never will, your smiling face will be buried in my memory for the rest of my life. i must ask you to keep the memory of me, of all of us, in your mind as long as you can until the day we all meat each other again in heaven to show how much your kindness meant and still does mean to em I have made this poem. Enjoy!.
Although it's quite a statement
Well, it happens to be true
The best friend I have ever had
I am glad to say, is you.
You are there if I should need you
And you never turn away
I know I can depend on you
At any time of day.
We have had our difficulties
As nearly everybody does
But problems never last for long
With friends like us.
Some people have so many friends
With whom they spend their time
But no-one has a best friend
Who is as wonderful as mine.
So thanks for always being there
Your friendship is strong and true
And I just want to let you know
I am always there for you!
