Hidden Beauty

Hidden Beauty

Shining inside of me, burning bright,

Is an angry fire,

A sweet light of my soul.

My personality that no one loves.

The outer shell, the hard

Cocoon that envelops me,

That vile, ugly face,

Hides me from others.

I turn to the internet,

I love all my friends here,

They love me for who I am.

But, when people cannot see,

No one knows who you are

By what you look like,

Or the clothes you wear,

But by the sweet heart,

The life inside.
