Windows

My head lazed

By the window

Laziness taking my body over.

Rolling my head

I watched the birds

Flutter by,

The clouds

Sliding across the sky

Slowly and gracefully.

The window

That I watched out of

Seem to grow darker,

The bright and cheerfully

Fading in front of my eyes.

The bars placed in front of

My window.

I turned from

My once beautiful window,

Back into my jail-cell

That I call my mind.
