What happens to the thoughts not let out?

Do they simply disappear,

like smoke on the wind?

Do they fade away, become less bothersome,

like a sound in the distance?

Do they wash away over night,

like an ocean would with sand?

Do they haunt the thinker,

never leaving them alone?

Maybe they sit and fester,

making your heart break faster?

Or they’re simply gone… never to return?
