“I thought you said he was coming!” Kammie yelled at her friend. The now angry figure shouted back, “He is! He’s just… a little delayed.”

“A little!!!” Kammie threw her red hair over her shoulder.

Her green eyes softly glared at her friend, “Dammit, Amy, he blew us off! And now, we’re going to die!”

Both stood in front of an empty mansion. The wooden shutters, once white, were now a rotting brown. A few bricks had fallen off. The surrounding plants were dead and decaying. The place was simply dying, memory and all.

“It’s only eleven o’ nine.” Amy darted around the dirt path, supposedly a road.

Her black hair was sticking to her sweaty face.

Kammie turned back to the house, looking from window to window. A few dark figures fled from her sight.

“Well, there’s still not much time they’re coming out of their chambers.” The words where like acid, spilling from her mouth in disgust.

Kammie hid behind the brick tower, which held a rusty, Iron Gate leading to a dirt driveway.

Just the, headlights were visible, as a black mustang pulled up. The car still running, a guy with short brown, curly hair stepped out.

“Are you coming or what?” he smirked towards the girls.

“Shut up Alex!” Amy hit Alex on the head. “Chill! Chill.” Alex laughed, dodged another blow that Amy attempted.

Kammie looked up at the moon nervously, and then sighed, placing her head back down.

“Too late.” Kammie mumbled as the full moon took its place directly above in the middle of the dark sky.

Dark figures started to circle the three, chuckling in dark manners.

“Why did we even come here in the first place?” Amy cried as she began to shiver in fear. “To see….that the legend….is true.” Kammie pulled out an odd looking charm around her neck, which was earlier retrieved from the rotting house.

Kammie’s vision shot to Amy as she screamed, being pulled to the ground and drug off into the shadows.

Kammie jumped as something swiped at her legs. “Bring it on.” Alex smirked, before he jumped.

Something suddenly flew out and hit Alex on the back of the head, a few bits of blood spilling.

Kammie turned just to see him dragged off.

Backing against the vibrating hood of the car, she clenched the necklace harder.

One gasp, and golden cat-like eyes was all she remembered as she feel to be swallowed in the cruel, merciless shadows.
