To My Friend

The things you’ve done for me

Are more than I could ask for.

You’ve lifted my spirit

When it was down.

You make me feel beautiful

When I don’t want to look in the mirror.

You’ve helped dry the tears,

Even when they had no meaning.

You’ve understood me,

When no one else could,

And you make me feel loved,

When I feel alone.

The things you done for me,

Are more than I could ask for.

I thank the Lord every moment for you,

My companion, my friend, my sister.
