Thunder roared and lightening flashed;
The cries of the Lord echoed in our minds.
The earth shook with force-
Bearing the birth of the devil’s child;
Yet I was to be born.

Everything in life was not given as it is.
I was born a stubborn child.
I resent people of all kind.
The demon I am;
I live alone, I have no friends, I have no family.

Human minds; how easily they give up.
On Halloween night, during the ball of masquerade, was our first encounter.
Freakishly handsome
He attracted my eyes.
Our dark personalities tied us together as friends.

Unbelievable that the world produced a mirror image of my hostility.
The moon casts its bright glow, enveloping our souls.
He was a gift dropped down from heaven.
He made me change;
From the eyes of a devil to the eyes of an angel.

My family started talking to me…again,
For the first time I didn’t mind.
I kept my distance from others still.
His visits were a great difference in my life.
I met his parents are they too enjoyed my presence.

Butterflies danced in my stomach,
My heart raced like never before,
I laughed to every joke he made,
The fact was it wasn’t really funny.
I soon discovered the power of love.

Death was what interested me,
Now I only wish to live for eternity.
With him at my side,
All my problems are wiped away.
He is the one, I’ve been searching for all along.

She memorized him, stole him, seduced him.
She deprived his heart. Who was she to do so?
How could I have not seen her evil deception?
My lesson was learnt. If you let your guards down,
Even for one small second, it would slowly creep back in your life.

Thunder roars and lightning flashes-
Time for my hunt.
Down in the dark alley where no one lies, only me and another
The rhythmic steps of our shoes, the foot prints of us both,
Out came one, but not two.

He found out the truth; the girl that I was/am forever is.
My love turned us to enemies.
From that day on, half of me lingered on earth like before,
While the other died along with her.
I was born on a dark night, destined to live a lonely life.
