lust
you'd think it would be easy to give in to temptation
but no, not when it's him i'm tempted by
(this instinctive dance takes both of us)
my entire body attracted to him
like iron filings to a magnet
but the magnet's in a glass case
(ohh, you can look but you can't touch)
that's as close as i can get
but i'm held there
mesmerized
craving his touch
longing for his taste
bittersweet,
tasted once and never forgotten
(i'm melting from inside)
it takes two to tango,
they say
(i'll wait a little longer)
a spark locked inside me
needing his permission to be released
but meanwhile it's burning me up inside
as i wait for the other half of the sinuous line we form
(just a little longer)
but it takes both of us
can't he feel the heat emanating from my body
calling out to him like a primal howl
a dark heat,
a painful heat
but it's been around since time began
we thirst for it even though it hurts
(and it's not a want, it's a need)
the thought of him opens a dam
sends scalding passion pouring from between my legs
it's tantalizing, frustrating
almost a kind of agony
(you don't even realize how much i need you)
but it's beautiful
this is purely physical
and though there's nothing more exquisitely mysterious
than what we term love
this isn't it
but it's stunning
love is beautiful
but sensual desire can be so much more satisfying
(not that i'm satisfied yet)
you'd think it would be easy to give in to temptation
but no, not when it's him i'm tempted by
(this instinctive dance takes both of us)
