Revolt

Do not go gently into that waiting box.

Do not lend yourself easily

To a tidy category.

Do not let yourself be slipped into the file folder,

The drawer closed, to be dusted and forgotten.

Do not go quietly along the straight path

Laid below your feet before your birth.

Refuse your predetermined, mass-produced slice of the pie.

Stand up and shake your boundaries.

Be too complex, a fractal, not a square.

Never let yourselves be labeled, shelved, and ignored,

For that will be your life:

A treadmill and a dangling carrot!

Friends! –

Do not go gently into that waiting box.
