"I'm not gay Max, I'm not!" I told my dog, his face in between palms. "I swear!" I sighed.. It had all been my best friend Tyler's fault. Why did he have to be so God damn cute?
"And if it wasn't for all of the times he had gotten too close when we were just messing around (not in THAT way you pervert!) I wouldn't even have thought about it.
"Is it just me or has he been acting weird?" I asked, not sure if the question was to my pet or the whole world. He hadn't been acting the same since the other day. We had been watching a movie with my little sister and we happened to look at each other at the same time causing our eyes to meet. Before I know it he blushed and looked away.
"Now tell me that isn't weird!" I retorted. With a loud sigh I collapsed onto my bed.
I turned onto my side and faced Max. "Max, this is completely unreasonable, there is no way in HELL I could like him.."
There was a squeak from the door and my eyes widened. I bounced off my bed and hurried to the door, pulling it open. "Tyler?!" I breathed.
"You could never like me?" he mumbled, tears coming to his eyes.
Now that was a shocker, "What?"
"You said you couldn't ever like me." he whined, tears freely falling from his eyes.
I pulled him into my room and sat on the floor. I tugged him onto my lap and wrapped my arms around him. "You mean you actually like ME?"
He shook his head and my arms almost dropped from around me. He looked up and giggled (Though it was a little choked due to the tears) at my awe-struck face. "Of course not silly.. I love you." He nuzzled his face into my neck.
I grinned and turned his head to face me. "Good, because there's no way in hell I could just like you.."
I knew he was about to ask for an explanation, though before he could do so I pressed my lips to his.
Seconds later we separated, and his eyes had a weird gloss to them. "Frankie?"
"Yeah?"
"Didja know that was my first kiss?" he muttered.
"No.. But that's a good thing."
"Why's that?"
"'Cause it was mine too."
